Today isAugust 22. We just returned from a camping trip which went from Saturday through Monday, to Bear Lake. We took to dog Oden and Tess, as well as Mark, Amy and Little Bit. We went on a boat on the lake, and Mark rented a jet ski and played on that. Just before coming home we had raspberry shakes.

It turned out that the camper was easier to set up and take down and we had expected. There is a bit of cleaning out to do, and of course as we get older and our joints and muscles start aching more. I'm not even sure that Tess had fun because she had to be always tied up and did not get a chance to romp around free.

Now, as it turns out, Dragon speaking is taking more effort than I thought it would. Sometimes it will get a whole sentence correct all at once, but sometimes it makes simple mistakes, and the correction can take quite a while. However, if I talk clearly it seems to get most of what I say. I'll keep playing with it for awhile and see if it improves by learning from what I correct.

At the moment, Lori is out at a meeting even though it's a vacation day for her.

Well, now I've gotten a copy of Dragon NaturallySpeaking and can add a lot more to the blog without it having to take a great deal of time. It seems to work pretty well, although I will have to edit the comments carefully. It's hard to follow along as a dictate because it pauses than prints one sentence at one time.

It looks like the last entry I made was way back in March. Back then Tess, my dog, was much younger. Now she is one year-old, plus. She weighs 70 pounds, and her only remaining area of training needed is to stop chewing.

I saw the doctor this last week, Dr. Wills, and it looks like he may want to bump up the dosage level of immuran. I'm at in the 75 mg right now and am experiencing some slight nausea and am not happy with the idea of experiencing him more.

Yesterday, Lori and I scheduled the trip to Seattle for September 28. We used frequent flyer miles to get tickets for all six of us. We have not yet purchased the tickets for the Victoria Clipper, because we're not sure if Amy can withstand the seasickness. She is going to check with her doctor and let us know next week. We also will schedule a hotel and a rental car next week.

Well, I'm going to sign off for now, and we'll come back again either later today or tomorrow.
